Let Them Come To Me, a mixed media painting on wood panel

From the Lost and Found Collection

Based on Luke 18:15-18, Jesus Lets The Children Come to Him

Jesus tells the crowd to let the little babies come to him. They know no ego, only humility. The baby ducks nearly blend in with the big duck. They know who to follow.

Art Size: 16 x 20 with an 1 1/2 profile

Acrylic, Gouache, Varnish

Comes Ready to Hang

Jesus teaches throughout the gospels that He came for the lost; He comes and seeks. This collection captures moments of Jesus seeking the lost and what happens when they are found.

Jesus refuses to let us get it wrong. He teaches it over and over again. We cannot make ourselves well, nor can we successfully hide. In the presence of His holiness, we are often tempted to try. Jesus says, no, we aren’t doing that. Come on.

“And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him and declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed.…” Luke 8:47

Let’s not hide. All that is His is ours. We can rejoice in being found.
