Eden Walker Flora grew up in Mobile, Alabama and has happily been an artist since she was a little girl, officially starting her business in 2013. Painting brings her joy, solace, and self-connection. As an experiential learner, Eden finds she learns best when she creates an experience for her ideas to be searched and pondered. She loves making bright spots for people’s favorite spaces and places and sharing truth with her community.
Eden was taught “you are so very important and so is everyone else,” which is something she strives to remember each day and communicate through her artwork. She spent her summers growing up at Camp DeSoto learning to be herself and to use the gifts God gave her.
Eden received a BFA in Fabric Design from the University of Georgia and a MPS in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, her favorite city. Eden is a Registered Art Therapist and contracts out her work at an Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center.
By way of Birmingham, Mentone, Brooklyn, Nashville and Boston, Eden resides in Oxford, Mississippi with her very loving and very tall husband, Gray, and her precious son, Vee, where they are often cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels, her adopted team. She paints from her turquoise filled home studio there.
